About the project
We work with a US-based FinTech company that provides trade surveillance technology for traditional and crypto markets: detecting market manipulation, fraud and compliance risks across over a trillion events per day. Long-term, stable cooperation: the client has partnered with us for several years, and 20+ of our specialists already work in their teams.

Cooperation

• B2B contract (any type/any country)
• Long-term, full-time
• European working hours with a focus on the US market

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong Java (Kotlin)
• Experience designing and optimizing algorithms for batch and real-time processing of large data volumes
• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, OOP
• Hands-on experience with real-time data processing and distributed systems
• Experience monitoring and managing production environments (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• English B2+

Nice to have

• Kafka, Spark, ClickHouse, Airflow, Snowflake, Redis
• Kubernetes, microservices
• Fintech / trading / market surveillance background
• Data analysis, statistical modeling or ML

What you’ll do

• Design and implement algorithms for batch and real-time monitoring of market and trading data
• Contribute to architecture of scalable, fault-tolerant, high-throughput / low-latency systems
• Review and improve the existing codebase for performance and maintainability
• Work with data scientists and compliance experts
