Backend Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

We are seeking a talented Java Software Engineer to join our team.

You’ll work a part of the cloud platform team building and maintaining shared microservices with the focus on scalability, security and resilience.

LOCATION: Ukraine (Remote)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 

At least 5 years of commercial software development experience after university.

EDUCATION: 

BS or MS in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Proven experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (or other relational databases)
• Working experience with Gradle
• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English (spoken and written)

NICE TO HAVE:

• Familiarity with JasperServer and ThingWorx
• Experience with AWS services
• Proficiency in JavaScript and React

DUTIES: 

• Work on the full product lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and support
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications
• Conduct unit tests and ensure high-quality software performance
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver innovative solutions
• Support system integration and troubleshoot technical issues
