We are looking for a Middle Python Developer to contribute to AI initiatives by building and supporting scalable enterprise applications. The role requires strong hands-on Python development skills, ownership, and the ability to work independently. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders and two Sombra engineers, taking initiative in technical discussions and delivery.
Required for this role
- Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience building complex applications.
- Proven experience working on enterprise-level applications.
- Practical experience with Python frameworks.
- Knowledge of Poetry for Python dependency and package management.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and development best practices.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work.
- Proactive approach to collaboration, with the ability to take responsibility and initiative when working directly with client stakeholders.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex Python applications that support the client’s AI initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of scalable enterprise applications.
- Apply appropriate Python frameworks and software engineering practices in day-to-day development.
- Maintain clear and reliable dependency management using Poetry.
- Contribute to CI/CD and application deployment processes.
- Take ownership of development tasks and drive them independently from implementation through completion.
- Collaborate directly with client stakeholders, proactively contributing to technical discussions and decisions.
- Work closely with other Sombra engineers to coordinate development and support consistent delivery.
