CodeIT is looking for a CTO / Head of Technology Strategy who will strengthen our technical strategy, service capabilities, engineering standards and technical leadership.
What you will do
- Own and evolve the company’s technology strategy and propose new technical service directions
- Design the technical model behind each service: technologies, competencies, tools, quality expectations
- Drive pragmatic AI adoption, including guidelines and governance for AI usage in engineering (может это в первый буллет поставить?)
- Define engineering standards: code quality, review practices, testing, CI/CD, architecture principles
- Run technical audits, architecture reviews and engineering maturity assessments
- Act as the escalation point for complex technical challenges and architectural risks
- Support presales: technical discovery, solution design, architecture proposals, estimation validation (вот может это убрать пока? — может сбить с толку)
- Build competency frameworks and grow technical leaders, architects and practice owners
This is not a purely managerial role. It is not a delivery, people management or sales role. We need a strong technical practitioner who can challenge architecture decisions and guide teams.
Must have
- 10+ years in software engineering, architecture or technology leadership
- 3+ years in a senior technical leadership role (CTO, Head of Technology, Director of Engineering, VP Engineering, Chief Architect, Practice Lead or similar)
- Experience in a service company: outsourcing, outstaffing, software development agency, digital engineering or technology consulting
- Strong engineering or architecture background
- Experience in technical presales, discovery, solution design or estimation
- Experience with AI-assisted software delivery or engineering automation
- Ability to work across multiple technology stacks
Nice to have
- AI usage guidelines or engineering governance for AI tools
- Technical audit frameworks, modernization roadmaps, implementation playbooks
- Experience scaling a technical practice or competence center
