About the Role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS and Kubernetes to design, implement, and operate the cloud infrastructure powering SpheraX — a next-generation fintech SaaS platform.
You will be responsible for building secure, scalable, and highly available environments, enabling efficient CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring platform reliability across multiple environments (dev, qa, uat, prod). This role requires strong ownership, infrastructure-as-code mindset, and deep cloud expertise. You will work closely with Backend, Frontend, and Architecture teams to ensure smooth delivery of multi-tenant services at scale.

What You’ll Do
● Design and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure for a multi-tenant SaaS platform
● Deploy and operate Kubernetes (EKS) clusters with high availability
● Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
● Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
● Manage containerized workloads (Docker, Helm)
● Implement secure networking, IAM policies, and least-privilege access controls
● Optimize infrastructure cost and performance
● Monitor system health, availability, and incident response
● Implement logging, metrics, and alerting strategies
● Ensure environment consistency across dev / qa / uat / prod
● Contribute to backup and disaster recovery strategies

Requirements:
● 5+ years of commercial experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
● Strong hands-on experience with AWS
● Solid experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
● Experience with Terraform (or similar IaC tools)
● Strong understanding of containerization (Docker)
● Experience designing CI/CD pipelines
● Understanding of networking (VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, Load Balancers)
● Experience with IAM roles and security best practices
● Familiarity with database infrastructure (RDS, PgBouncer, backups)
● Strong troubleshooting and automation mindset
● Upper-Intermediate English or higher

Nice to Have
● Experience in fintech / high-compliance environments
● Experience with autoscaling (Karpenter, HPA)
● Experience implementing SOC 2 / GMP / security compliance controls
● Knowledge of PostgreSQL performance tuning
● Experience with event-driven architectures
● Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure workloads
