DevOps Engineer
BIScience is looking for a Strong Middle or Senior (Junior-Senior) DevOps Engineer to join our Kyiv team on a full-time basis.
BIScience provides business intelligence solutions for online advertising. Our products help clients maximize profits by delivering insights and analytics into their online presence, comparing their performance with competitors and broader market segments.
Our solutions are secure, reliable, intuitive, and easy to use. We offer flexible packages designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized businesses as well as large enterprises.
Our flagship product, AdClarity, provides comprehensive insights into digital advertising performance, enabling clients to benchmark themselves against competitors and market trends.
AdClarity monitors 30 million web pages worldwide every day, operating across hundreds of servers. It tracks Display, Video, In-App, and Social advertising channels, combining robotic and panel data to deliver accurate, actionable intelligence.
Responsibilities:
● Support and monitor large infrastructure
● Manage deployments of new components
● Implement new solutions and technologies
● Communication and close cooperation with Dev, QA and Data Science teams
● 24-hour on-call duty 1–2 days per week, starting from the 3rd—4th month of
employment
Requirements:
● Strong knowledge of Linux
● Basic understanding of Networks (knowledge of IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP)
● Experience with Chef or one of IaC systems (Ansible, Puppet)
● Deploying and Managing Kubernetes
● Docker
● Bash
● Git
● English B2 (both spoken and written)
Nice to have:
● Managing CI/DC pipelines with Jenkins
● Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, Route53, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Athena)
● Scripting language (Ruby, Python)
● Queue brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
● Basic knowledge of databases: PostgreSQL, Mongo, Vertica, Exasol
● Academic IT education at the master’s level in Computer Science or Engineering
