DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a Cloud Backend & Edge DevOps Engineer to join an enterprise IoT platform project.
The main focus of the role is integrating Mender Enterprise SaaS into the existing IoT ecosystem and enabling secure, centrally managed Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates across a fleet of remote edge devices.
About the project:
You’ll join an engineering initiative focused on improving the resilience and operational capabilities of an enterprise IoT platform.
One of the key project streams is introducing an enterprise-grade OTA solution for secure fleet-wide software deployment, progressive rollouts and automatic recovery across remote edge devices.
🎯What you’ll do:
* Deploy and integrate Mender Enterprise SaaS with the existing IoT platform
* Build backend API integrations for fleet-wide OTA software updates
* Configure progressive/staged software rollouts
* Implement fail-safe automatic rollback mechanisms for edge-device updates
* Build software package/artifact signing pipelines
* Work with secrets management and software supply-chain security
* Support secure software distribution across distributed IoT/Edge environments
* Collaborate with Backend and DevOps engineers on platform integration
🧩What we’re looking for:
* Strong experience with API integrations and backend systems
* Proficient scripting skills with Python, Bash and/or PowerShell
* Experience with IoT / Edge environments
* Experience with software supply-chain security
* Hands-on knowledge of code signing / software package signing
* Experience with secrets management
* Good understanding of DevOps, deployment automation and secure software delivery
🚀Strong advantage:
* Experience with Mender Enterprise or similar OTA/device management platforms
* Experience with Azure IoT
* Knowledge of progressive deployments, rollback strategies and fleet management
* Experience integrating SaaS platforms into existing backend architectures
