❗️This is not a classic PM role❗️ We are looking for an embedded or robotics engineer who grew into delivery leadership. You read firmware and C++ fluently, draft baseline architecture yourself, and talk to CV and hardware engineers as a peer. Your focus is technical delivery of systems where software meets hardware.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on engineering with a strong embedded component (firmware, MCU/SoC platforms, drivers, real-time systems, robotics) before or alongside a lead/PM role.
- Solid understanding of embedded constraints: real-time behavior, memory and compute limits, power, communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN), hardware bring-up and debugging.
- Can independently turn high-level requirements into a solution architecture and technical decomposition across hardware, firmware and software layers, and defend it.
- Reads and reviews C/C++ confidently; Python for tooling, testing and integration.
- Understands ML/CV trade-offs on edge devices (accuracy / latency / compute / power). Deep CV expertise is not required.
- Has driven projects where software and hardware teams had to integrate and ship together.
- Uses AI tools daily (Claude / Cursor / Copilot).
Nice to have: NVIDIA Jetson, ONNX/TensorRT deployment, ROS/ROS 2, ArduPilot/PX4/Betaflight, flight controllers, FPV/drones, sensor fusion (IMU, GNSS, cameras), RTOS, CV pipelines.
What You'll Do
- Turn the Lead Architect's direction into system architectures, hardware/software decompositions and implementable tasks.
- Own delivery across workstreams (autonomous drone, turret control): planning, risks, reporting.
- Bridge embedded/hardware teams with CV/ML and ROS teams; own module integration and interface contracts between them.
- Attend field tests, analyze failures at the hardware–software boundary and translate results into engineering tasks.
