Frontend Engineer

Itera is looking for an Intern Frontend Developer to work on projects for the Iceland technology company, which provides services in the facilities-monitoring industry. A hybrid development team is based in Kyiv, Ukraine, and a Nordic countries. One of the Client’s tasks is to support the development and maintenance of a few business-critical systems. Front-end technology stack is using React, Next.js, and backend is .NET
We are looking for someone open-minded, passionate about continuous self-development, and ready to grow.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Support an existing web application with improvements and bug fixes,
- Work closely with Product Owner, UX/UI designers, and other engineers.
- Work with React and modern front-end technologies
- Assist with simple backend tasks (e.g., working with APIs, data models, minor .NET changes
Professional requirements:
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and some experience in TypeScript or/and .Net
- Good understanding of React fundamentals and Next.JS
- Understand basics of clean code — DIY, DRY, SOLID, KISS
Personal requirements:
