Full Stack Engineer

Spendbase is a global fintech company with a startup mindset, helping businesses optimize their spending on SaaS, cloud services, and corporate cards.

We’re building and scaling fintech products used by businesses worldwide, and we’re looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join our Banking team. If you enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, building reliable financial systems, and taking ownership in a fast-paced product environment, we’d love to hear from you!

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain backend services using Go and Node.js, as well as frontend functionality with React and TypeScript.
• Build and scale reliable fintech products, ensuring their performance, stability, and security.
• Design and integrate APIs using REST and gRPC.
• Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka/RedPanda to support data-intensive applications and asynchronous workflows.
• Contribute to architectural and technical decisions, focusing on scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Take ownership of tasks from technical design to implementation and production.

What we’re looking for

• 4+ years of experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience with Golang in production environments.
• Previous experience in fintech, banking, crypto, or trading products is a must.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs; familiarity with gRPC.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and designing reliable, scalable systems.
• Understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with React and TypeScript, or the ability to contribute effectively to frontend development.
• Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and a sense of ownership.
• English level B2 or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-load or distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration.
• Previous experience in an early-stage startup or a fast-growing product company.
