Full Stack Engineer
About the Role
Our client is building an AI-powered platform that simplifies financial, accounting, and business operations through modern technology. They are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join their engineering team and contribute to the development of a modern greenfield product.
This is a temporary B2B contract position. The initial engagement is project-based, with the possibility of extension depending on project needs and business priorities.
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to build scalable, user-focused solutions. You’ll take ownership of features from concept to production while contributing to technical decisions and product evolution.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end product features.
- Build scalable frontend and backend applications using modern web technologies.
- Develop and maintain APIs, data models, and intuitive user interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in short development cycles.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and engineering best practices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience building modern web applications.
- English: C1 (Advanced) level
- Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Backend development experience with Node.js, FastAPI, or similar technologies.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and modern deployment workflows.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a product-oriented mindset.
- Experience using AI tools as an integral part of the software development workflow.
Nice to Have
- Experience working on SaaS products.
- Experience with cloud platforms and modern deployment environments.
- Startup or greenfield product development experience.
- Experience mentoring other engineers.
- German language skills.
