Full Stack Engineer

Industry: Retail banking (consumer and framework loan financing)

Location: EU-based only; one day a week onsite in Budapest (being confirmed). Candidates based in Hungary are preferred.

Language: English required; German is a plus

Start: ASAP

About the project:

You'll join a team building financing processes for a retail banking platform. The work is feature development across a distributed system: SPA front end, Java microservices, REST integrations and a BPMN process engine.

Must-have:

• Senior level, with several years of commercial experience as an Angular developer on a current stack
• Fullstack skills with Java and microservices
• Hands-on experience with Camunda or a similar workflow engine
• REST API integration and backend services
• Experience in complex system landscapes (end-to-end flows, interfaces between systems)
• Able to implement features independently
• Test automation with JMeter, Playwright or Tosca

Nice to have:

• CI/CD (Git, Jenkins, OpenShift)
• Banking or financial services experience
