Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Middle+/Senior Full Stack Developer to join The Tongue Teacher, a French digital health / EdTech product in the dental and orthodontic field.

The Tongue Teacher is a software and web platform designed to support patient education and treatment follow-up.

The product is already in development, so we are looking for someone who can quickly understand an existing codebase, take ownership of features, and actively contribute to technical decisions.

Tech Stack

• Front-end: Nuxt 3, Vue.js, HTML, CSS
• Back-end: Python, FastAPI
• Database: PostgreSQL
• CMS: Custom-built
• REST APIs
• Git

What you will do

• Develop new features across the front-end and back-end
• Maintain and improve the existing application
• Build and optimize APIs using FastAPI
• Work with PostgreSQL and application data
• Analyze and improve existing code and architecture
• Investigate and resolve technical issues independently
• Participate in technical and product decisions
• Collaborate directly with the product, design and project teams
• Take ownership of development tasks from estimation to delivery

What we are looking for

• 4+ years of commercial development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Vue.js / Nuxt
• Strong experience with Python
• Experience with FastAPI or similar Python frameworks
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and REST APIs
• Experience working with existing production codebases
• Ability to write clean, maintainable and well-structured code
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical tasks
• Proactive communication and a responsible approach to deadlines

English

Upper-Intermediate English (B2) or higher is required.

You will communicate in English with the international project team, so you should feel comfortable discussing technical topics, explaining solutions and participating in meetings.
