Game Engineer

We’re looking for an intermediate-level developer who enjoys creating engaging experiences and is ready to work on games and applications across multiple platforms.

Superpowers you have:

• 3+ years of experience with C# and Unity development.
• Strong knowledge of Unity and C#.
• Experience with Web development, particularly JavaScript and React.js.
• Experience developing UI.
• Ability to understand and work with technical documentation.
• Experience with Git/GitLab.
• Intermediate+ level of English.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.

You’re a rockstar if you have:

Experience with any of the following will be an advantage:

• 
  
  • Node.js.
  • Coherent for Unity3D or another UI tool.
  • ECS (Entity Component System) for Unity.
  • Game profiling, debugging, and optimization, including CPU, GPU, and memoryoptimization.
  • Porting or developing games for Xbox or PlayStation.

Becoming part of Room 8 Group, you will:

• Develop and port games and applications for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, Web, PC, and Mac.
• Work with Unity and C# to implement new features and gameplay functionality.
• Develop and maintain UI and user-facing features.
• Assist with and review technical project documentation.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and task/project estimations.
• Collaborate closely with Senior Developers and other teams to complete tasks and solve technical challenges.
• Communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Continuously learn, share knowledge, and help achieve the team’s overall goals.
