BMS Engineer / Building Automation Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced BMS Engineer / Building Automation Engineer to join our team and work on international building automation and energy efficiency projects across Europe.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience programming controllers, integrating different building engineering systems and independently commissioning BMS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Program and configure BMS controllers and automation equipment.
• Develop and implement building automation and control algorithms.
• Integrate HVAC, ventilation, heating, cooling, electrical and other engineering systems into a centralized management platform.
• Configure communication between controllers, sensors, actuators and third-party equipment.
• Work with BACnet, Modbus, KNX and other industrial communication protocols.
• Configure BMS monitoring, visualization, alarms and supervisory control.
• Perform on-site testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
• Participate in equipment selection and technical solution development.
• Cooperate with international manufacturers, installation contractors and project teams.
• Provide technical support during implementation and after commissioning.

Requirements

• Practical experience in BMS, building automation or closely related automation systems.
• Strong controller programming and configuration skills.
• Experience integrating HVAC and other building engineering systems.
• Good understanding of BACnet, Modbus and other communication protocols.
• Knowledge of sensors, actuators, variable frequency drives and automation equipment.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot, configure and commission automation systems.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and engineering documentation.
• English: B1 or higher.

An advantage:

• Experience with Siemens, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Johnson Controls or similar automation platforms.
• Experience with large commercial, industrial or infrastructure facilities.
• Experience delivering international engineering projects.
