Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with practical experience in Archicad. In this role, you will be responsible for testing CAD/BIM software workflows, ensuring product stability and functionality from the perspective of an end-user architect or structural engineer

LOCATION: Ukraine (remote)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 
3+ years of experience as Quality Assurance Engineer

EDUCATION:
BS or MS in Math, Computer Science, Engineering

REQUIREMENTS:

• Hands-on experience using Archicad in real architectural or BIM/CAD projects
• Solid understanding of SDLC, testing types (functional, regression, exploratory), and QA practices
• Proven experience in writing and maintaining structured test cases, test suites, and bug reports.
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking systems
• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with desktop application testing
• Familiarity with other BIM/CAD software (Autodesk Revit)
   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform manual, functional, regression, and exploratory testing of CAD/BIM software workflows in Archicad
• Prepare, organize, and maintain reusable test data, including 3D BIM models, architectural drawings, and complex project files
• Develop, structure, and update detailed test documentation (test plans, test cases, and checklists)
• Identify, document, and track software defects in Jira through to resolution
• Evaluate project requirements from an end-user architect/engineer perspective
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to support current QA processes
• Report on testing progress, risks, and statuses during regular syncs
