Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented specialist who understands the software testing process, is able to independently identify and document defects, and wants to grow by working with complex technological products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Test web applications, mobile applications (iOS and Android), and APIs.
• Verify the correct operation of mobile applications across various devices, operating system versions, and network conditions.
• Analyze requirements and prepare test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports).
• Identify, reproduce, and document defects.
• Verify correct data processing and the interaction between system components.
• Collaborate with developers and the project team to ensure product quality.
• Participate in the improvement of testing processes.

Our expectations for a successful candidate

• At least 1 year of commercial experience in Manual QA.
• Practical experience testing web and mobile applications (iOS/Android).
• Understanding of mobile-specific testing aspects: permissions, push notifications, background mode, and app installation/updates.
• Understanding of the SDLC, STLC, and core testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of test design techniques.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and an understanding of how databases work.
• Experience working with Jira or other task management systems.
• Ability to independently analyze bugs, isolate issues, and clearly document test results.
• English proficiency sufficient for working with documentation.
• Familiar with modern AI generative models (e.g., Anthropic Claude)

An advantage would be

• Experience testing complex systems with numerous integrations.
• Understanding of client-server architecture.
• Experience working with logs and browser developer tools (DevTools).
• Basic knowledge of Python or JavaScript.
• Experience testing systems that utilize AI/ML, data processing algorithms, or other DeepTech technologies.
• Experience working with Android Studio, Xcode, and mobile device emulators and simulators.
• An interest in developing automated testing.
