QA Engineer
We’re opening the position of a Senior General QA Engineer to work on the project of our Client — a global leader in delivering advanced SaaS solutions for the Energy sector, serving thousands of clients worldwide. Their offerings combine proprietary data, analytics, and software to empower high‑impact business decisions where accuracy, reliability, and trust are paramount. Customers span the entire energy value chain and depend on these solutions to navigate complex markets, optimize operations, and make informed strategic choices.
The project is a flagship web-based energy analytics platform designed for data capture, aggregation, visualization, and analysis. It provides advanced capabilities for data modeling and supports integration with a wide range of data sources. The platform combines rich functionality, interactive graphical interfaces, and scalable data repository solutions to help users efficiently analyze and interpret complex energy data.
Responsibilities:
- Write reuseable, maintainable, and efficient code for automation tests
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
- Provide feedback on which test cases should be automated
- Identify and suggest areas of improvement for your own workflows or for the whole team
- Work within an existing Test Automation framework
- Work as part of a dedicated team to investigate and address identified issues
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet the Customer’s needs
- Assist in triage of issues
- Work with the team to help solve problems discovered in QA process
Requirements:
- 5+ years of QA/testing experience in software quality assurance (manual and automation)
- Ability to investigate issues, understand technical details, communicate clearly, and provide feedback to Manager and peers
- Extensive experience with testing modern applications/data
- Experience in testing web applications
- Familiarity with operating within an established automation test framework
- Experience with CI/CD methodologies
- Good experience with and understanding of performance and security testing
- Capability to take the lead on initiatives when requested, with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- English level — Upper-Intermediate or higher
