In this position, your primary mission will be to lead the verification and validation of advanced audio/video conferencing products, ensuring top-tier performance, reliability, and quality for our global customers. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on multimedia device testing and working across embedded and desktop environments.
🧰 Requirements:
- 4+ years of commercial experience in QA/testing, with a primary hands-on focus on video and/or audio products (e.g., cameras, microphones, video bars, conferencing systems, streaming solutions).
- Advanced experience working in Embedded Linux and Android environments.
- Strong cross-platform testing skills (Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS) with a focus on audio/video functionality.
- Solid understanding of AV codecs, streaming protocols, and multimedia performance metrics.
- In-depth knowledge of hardware and network connectivity protocols (USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Ethernet).
- Proven ability to clearly document test results, track defects, and communicate technical findings effectively.
- Good technical English level with the ability to participate in syncs and technical discussions.
🧰 As a plus:
- Experience using network sniffers (e.g., Wireshark) and debugging tools (e.g., ADB) for analyzing embedded and cross-platform communication issues.
- Programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash scripting) to support test automation or troubleshooting.
- Experience with automation frameworks tailored for audio/video product testing.
- Bash scripting knowledge for task automation in Linux/embedded environments.
💻 Responsibilities:
- Taking the lead in hands-on testing of video and audio products, including cameras, microphones, and conferencing systems.
- Analyzing, designing, and executing test scenarios focused on real-world audio/video usage, assessing streaming quality, feature sets, and cross-platform integration.
- Testing multimedia device performance across Embedded Linux, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux, and ChromeOS environments.
- Validating a full range of device connectivity, emphasizing AV quality over USB, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi/Ethernet.
- Reviewing requirements and specifications to develop comprehensive test coverage with a special priority on audio/video features.
- Maintaining and executing detailed test cases, ensuring thorough evaluation of AV quality and product risk.
- Preparing and presenting clear, data-driven reports on product quality and collaborating actively with cross-functional product teams.
🎁 We offer:
- Hybrid work model (Kraków office + remote).
- Flexible working hours.
- Competitive compensation based on experience and expertise.
- Professional growth and challenging technical tasks.
- High level of autonomy and influence on testing processes.
- Collaborative and friendly team environment.
