Software Engineer

Join the Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence at a global medical technology company (Warsaw, hybrid) and change the way a worldwide business works. You’ll own complex solutions from the first idea to production, combining Python, modern front end, cloud, data and low-code, and bring AI and agents into real business workflows where they make a measurable difference. You’ll have real influence here: you’ll set engineering standards, choose the right approach for each problem and mentor other developers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead the design and delivery of complex automation and digital applications from concept to production.
• Build full-stack solutions across UIs, workflows, business logic, APIs, integrations, data and cloud.
• Write production-grade Python and modern front-end code (React, JavaScript or TypeScript).
• Design solutions on AWS, enterprise APIs, SQL/data platforms such as Snowflake, and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Turn business needs into technical solutions and choose the right approach: custom, cloud, low-code, automation, data or AI.
• Apply AI, generative AI and agents where they add measurable value, and modernize legacy solutions.
• Own security, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, documentation, resiliency and governance.
• Define reusable components and engineering standards, and mentor developers through design and code reviews.

What we expect from you:

• 7+ years in software engineering, application development, automation or a similar field.
• Advanced Python, with experience building production-grade applications and services.
• Full-stack experience across UI, application logic, APIs/integrations and data.
• Modern front end: React, JavaScript, TypeScript or similar.
• Strong experience with APIs and integrations, SQL/data platforms and cloud development.
• Automated testing, CI/CD, secure development, observability and production support.
• Technical leadership, solution design and mentoring experience.
• Strong communication skills in global, cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English (other languages are a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have:

• AWS.
• Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Snowflake or a similar data platform.
• Docker, Kubernetes, serverless, infrastructure as code, DevOps.
• Palantir, Celonis or Moveworks.
• AI, generative AI, agents or ML applied to business workflows.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems or setting engineering standards.
• Background in regulated, global or shared services environments.
