Software Engineer
Outstaff Hiring: Remote — Contract (Full-time, Long-term)
About the Project
Our client is building and scaling a kiosk-based shipping and postage platform used by customers to weigh, label, and ship packages through carriers such as USPS, FedEx, and UPS.
The platform powers native Android kiosk applications integrated with hardware devices including scales, label printers, and POS systems. The solution supports multiple countries, languages, currencies, and integrations with local postal providers.
The backend platform is built on Microsoft technologies using Azure serverless architecture, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, and cloud-native services. The company is now modernizing and restructuring the platform to improve automation, scalability, deployment reliability, and operational efficiency.
The engineering team is transitioning from manual onboarding and deployment processes toward a modern CI/CD-driven environment with QA automation, staging environments, administrative tooling, and AI-assisted development workflows.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll help shape the future architecture, automation, and engineering standards of the platform while working closely with senior technical leadership.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the client’s engineering team and help build scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions using the Microsoft technology stack.
You’ll work closely with Product, QA, UX/UI, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment, contributing to technical design, software development, cloud infrastructure, and mentoring junior engineers.
The role combines hands-on engineering with architecture, automation, and platform modernization initiatives. You’ll also contribute to improving deployment pipelines, operational tooling, QA automation, and developer productivity using modern AI-assisted engineering tools.
This role is ideal for a strong hands-on engineer with deep experience in .NET, Azure, SQL Server, and modern development practices, including GitHub Copilot and Claude.
