Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our team.

Project: Our project is a mobile crypto payments product designed initially for students in Canada. It will allow users to hold fiat and crypto balances, receive funding from a parent or another sponsor, convert assets, make card payments, and send or receive bank and crypto transfers.

Requirements:

• 3+years of professional experience in backend development with Node.js
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and familiarity with TypeScript
• Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services
• Knowledge of databases
• Experience with ORM/ODM frameworks (Sequelize, TypeORM, Mongoose, Prisma, etc.).
• Experience with unit and integration testing
• Hands-on experience with Git and modern CI/CD workflows
• Understanding of Docker and containerized environments
• Experience with web3
