Project overview:
Kamstrup is a leading Danish technology company specializing in intelligent metering solutions for energy and water consumption. Due to growing demand, we are expanding our Technology Software division and looking for talented Software Developers.
You will join a team of 170 software professionals and become part of the HCW Systems Software team, consisting of 40 colleagues. Working in an agile environment, you will help develop high-quality software solutions using modern technologies, enabling utilities worldwide to optimize energy and water management.
Responsibilities:
As a Software Developer, you will contribute to the development of software solutions that help optimize water and energy consumption for utilities worldwide. Together with the team, you will refine, estimate, develop, test, and document new features. In addition, you will work with third-party libraries, identify and address security vulnerabilities, and help ensure the reliability and security of our solutions.
Requirements:
5 + years of solid experience with programming, preferably in C# and SQL
Solid experience in C#, .NET 4.8, SQL, .NET 8/10
Experience in API design and API consumption
Curiosity in software structures for maintainable and readable code
Knowledge in micro services and loosely coupled distributed systems
Experience in the usage of AI (Copilot, Claude Code, etc)
Knowledge of practices around continuous delivery
University degree in computer science or similar
Will be a plus:
Experience in Kubernetes
Experience in Kafka
Experience in Azure
